does anyone else say the "dash" in the MP4-12C? I dunno, I know it's not totally right but I just for some reason always say M-P-4-dash-12-c

No sir. However, with the way the Brits like to call out model names by each individual number (Ferrari Three Five Five/Four Five Eight/Five Nine Nine/etc), I'm surprised they don't call the McLaren the "M P Four Dash One Two C".
Truly one of the least attractive and least emotional names given to any car, ever. A fax machine serial code should not be the model name to a sexy supercar.

I'm fairly sure they just call it the 12C now. As I do anyway.

Of course! And for the same reason I can only call it a 'zed-eff' gearbox...

I have a friend who says "dot" for the decimals in engine sizes. Two dot seven... It's not a web site.

I'll now say it. I have brief periods where I'll say 530i as five-hundred and thirty after watching James Bond.

I do call it the MP4 dash 12C. For Top Gear reasons but also because it's accurate.
Though I heard about this woman named Ledasha, but spelled Le-a. True story.
